    Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Identify MFHDs in a specific location that are missing a specific call number suffix

    When migrating from Voyager to Alma you may want to check and correct call number suffixes (852 $m) associated with a specific Voyager location.  This query will help identify incorrect call number suffixes or incorrect locations (based on the call number suffix).

    This query, which you can run using Voyager's Prepackaged Access Reports, will prompt for the Location Code and the correct call number suffix (852 $m) for that location code.  The query then returns the MFHDs for the location code that do not contain the correct call number suffix.

    Note that in many cases this query will identify MFHDs that need the correct suffix added to the 852 $m.  But it can also identify a MFHD that contains an incorrect location code, based on the call number suffix.

    SELECT MFHD_MASTER.MFHD_ID, LOCATION.LOCATION_CODE,
    MFHD_MASTER.NORMALIZED_CALL_NO, MFHD_MASTER.DISPLAY_CALL_NO
    FROM MFHD_MASTER INNER JOIN LOCATION
    ON MFHD_MASTER.LOCATION_ID = LOCATION.LOCATION_ID
    WHERE (((LOCATION.LOCATION_CODE) Like [Enter location CODE:])
    AND ((MFHD_MASTER.DISPLAY_CALL_NO)
    Not Like "*" & [Enter correct suffix for loc (case sensitive):]));
