    Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Identify patrons with "non-active" patron barcodes (lost, expired, etc.)

    • Product: Voyager
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant Direct, Dedicated-Direct, Local, TotalCare

    Description

    When migrating from Voyager to Alma it may be helpful to identify those patrons in your Voyager database who have non-active barcodes attached to their patron records. In other words, patrons who have barcodes with a status of "Lost" or "Expired", etc.

    The following query, which can be run using Voyager Access Reports, provides a list of patrons including first name, last name, barcode and patron ID for those patrons who have barcodes that are not of the type "Active".

    SELECT PATRON_BARCODE.BARCODE_STATUS, PATRON.PATRON_ID, PATRON.LAST_NAME, PATRON.FIRST_NAME, PATRON.CREATE_DATE, PATRON.MODIFY_DATE, PATRON.EXPIRE_DATE, PATRON.PURGE_DATE, PATRON_BARCODE_STATUS.BARCODE_STATUS_DESC

    FROM (PATRON_BARCODE INNER JOIN PATRON ON PATRON_BARCODE.PATRON_ID = PATRON.PATRON_ID) INNER JOIN PATRON_BARCODE_STATUS ON PATRON_BARCODE.BARCODE_STATUS = PATRON_BARCODE_STATUS.BARCODE_STATUS_TYPE

    WHERE (((PATRON_BARCODE.BARCODE_STATUS)>"1"));
