    CIRC: Duplicate Patron gives RTE 381

    Symptoms

    • Patron > Duplicate Patron when patron has Mobile but no Permanent phone number gives RTE 381.
    • Patron > Duplicate Patron when patron belongs to first patron group in barcode patron group drop-down menu gives RTE 381.

    Defect Status

    Issue VYG-5087 is resolved for Voyager 9.1.0 and higher.

    Replication Steps

    1. Find or create another patron record that has a mobile phone number but does not have a permanent phone number.
    2. Find & open the record.
    3. Click Patron > Duplicate Patron.
    4. Click Save.
    5. Get Run-time error '381': Invalid property array index
    6. Client closes.

     

    1. In Circulation, find or create patron record where barcode has patron group that is whatever patron group is populated first in the patron group drop-down.
    2. Find & open the record.
    3. Click Patron > Duplicate Patron.
    4. Immediately get: Run-time error '381': Invalid property array index
    5. Client closes.

    Workaround

    For patron records with these characteristics, create new patron record rather than duplicating from existing.
