Can MarcExport include some item data?

Question

Is it possible for MarcExport to include barcode, volume and copy information from an item record?

Answer

MarcExport can export data from MARC format records: bibliographic, holdings (mfhd), and authority. Item records and item record data cannot be exported with MarcExport.

Additional Information

• Exported bibliographic records can be edited to add fields to represent generic item data using a third party editing program such MARCEdit.
• Voyager PrePackaged Access Reports may be used to extract item information. See the Reporter Users' Guide, Chapter 7: Prepackaged Access Reports.
• The Voy-L listserv may be a good source of information for customers needing to represent Voyager item information in exported bibliographic records.
