    • Product: Voyager

    Question

Do I need to rotate the Apache webserver Access Logs on Solaris servers?

    Answer

It is neccesary to rotate the Apache webserver access logs on a periodical basis. or else they can cause the /m1 filesystem to reach full capacity, with the end result being an inoperative WebVoyage.

These logs are usually found in the /m1/shared/apache2/logs/xxxdb directory.

Recommendation: rotate Access logs weekly, using logrotate
