    Question

Do hosted customers still need to run the Pfpc_save backup?

    Answer

Yes, all customers (hosted or local) should run Pfpc_save to back up Acquisitions data prior to performing FPC.

    Additional Information

The Pfpc_save process performs a targeted backup of the data in the Acquisitions tables which can be used to restore the Acquisitions data to pre-FPC status if absolutely necessary; this is preferable to having to restore all of your Voyager data from the last backup.
