How do we add the patron barcode to the patron SIF file?

Question
We are using Patron Update (Patron SIF Method) and want the our patrons' ID card numbers to be their barcode numbers. Where do we do this in the SIF file?
Answer
Place the patron barcode as item 03/offset 21 in the patron SIF. You can leave the Patron Barcode ID (item 02/offset 11)blank. That is an internal number and it's not necessary to know it or include it in the SIF.
