UB/circ:edit expire date from map/remap screen, modify opID still SYS-UB

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 2001.2

    Bug Report for Issue # 17448 / VYG-4333

    Module: UB/Circ
Other Modules that are affected or might have an affect:
Release(s) - indicate both first reported in and most recent replicated in:
Reported in 2001.2, replicated in 7.2.2
PC O/S (if this is PC specific): n/a
    Server Platform(s) affected: Solaris/all
Browser type & version (if WebVoyage): n/a

    Expected Results:
Setting expiration date for stub patron via map/remap option would change the modify operator id in the
patron table from SYS-UB to that operator's id (making the stub a child).

    Actual Results:
Setting the expiration date for a stub patron via the map/remap option does change the expiration
date in the patron table, however, the modify operator id remains SYS-UB instead of changing to
the operator id of the person editing the stub.

    Workflow implications:
Operators have to click 'edit patron' and save in order to change the modify operator id of the patron
table to something other than SYS-UB

    Replication steps:
1)create home record in dbA with a patron group that is set to be manually mapped in dbB
    2)create stub record in dbB
3)select map/remap option, select an expiration date and click OK
4)check the patron table - you'll see that though the expiration date has been changed to what you'd
specified, the modify operator id remains SYS-UB
