Voy_ANA:no results querying for patron statistical category

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 7.2.1

    Description:
    Module: Analyzer
    Server platforms affected: Solaris, Linux

    Releases replicated in: 7.2.2, 8

    Expected results:
Users should be able to query using Patron Statistical Categories.

    Actual results:
If MISCELLANEOUS.RETAIN_PATRON_ID=N, then users will not get any results when using Circulation Statistics>Patron Statistical Category.

Workflow implications: Queries don’t return any results.

    Replication steps:
    1. In SysAdmin>System>Miscellaneous, make sure “Retain Patron ID for Circulation History” is unchecked. (If it’s not, you’ll have to clear all Patron ID’s after unchecking it).
    2. In (Query Studio or Report Studio) Circulation and Call Slip Package, select Circulation Statistics>Patron Statistical Category.
    3. Then, select another query subject from Circulation Statistics. We’ll use Circulation Statistics>Completed Charges> Charge date for this example.
    4. The query returns no results.

Workaround: Query using the database schema package.
