What does "No /m1/voyager/xxxdb/rpt/crcsms*.inp files found" mean?

    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 8.2.0

    Question

After running circjob 12, circjob 24 and a few others, on completion, it displays this message:

    In /m1/voyager/xxxdb/rpt:
    No /m1/voyager/xxxdb/rpt/crcsms*.inp files found

The circjobs still run; is this an error? What is this message?

    Answer

When a circjob runs, it will check for SMS notices when it finishes. If it finds SMS notice files, it will send those to the provider you configured when you implemented SMS notice functionality.

Sites that have not implemented SMS notices (introduced in Voyager 8.0.0) can ignore this message.

Sites that have implemented SMS notices and believe there should be sms notice files (crcsms.*.inp) should verify whether a file should have been generated, and if a file should have been created but was not, open a Support Case via Support Portal.
