360 KB: Oxford Reference Online databases from Oxford University Press: Database Name Change -- July 2018

What is happening to the names of Oxford Reference Online databases?

In order to better align with Oxford University Press naming conventions, we will be changing the database names of some of the Oxford Reference Online databases. The database IDs and content of the databases will remain the same.

This change will take effect on July 2, 2018:

Old database name (before July, 2018) New database name (after July, 2018) Database ID
Oxford Reference Online: Premium Oxford Reference Premium GAS
Oxford Reference Online: Premium with Literature Oxford Reference Premium with Literature DHG
Oxford Reference Online: Western Civilization Oxford Reference Premium with Western Civilization ICI
Oxford Reference Premium with Literature Western Civilization Oxford Reference Premium with Literature and Western Civilization AAWOK

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after July 2, 2018.
    • If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
