    360 Search: Permissions Error with Custom Search Box

    Why do I get a Permissions Error page when viewing my 360 Search Custom Search box?


    In certain situations, you may receive the following error when viewing your 360 Search Custom Search Box:
    We're sorry, but you do not have permission to access this page. Please check to make sure that cookies are enabled in your browser, and that your session has not expired. If you continue to get this error message, please contact a librarian at your institution for assistance.

    This probably occurred because the code is passing a login parameter instead of a form parameter with the EZproxy set up.
    Please change your EZproxy URL syntax from
    to
    If you receive this error and you are using Innovative's Web Access Management, you may need to change the "method" code generated. The Custom Search Box code created will have this line of code:

    action="http://0-CLIENTID.cs.serialssolutions.com.sally.sandiego.edu/resultFrameset.jsp"
    class="SSCentralSearchSearchForm" method="post" target="new">
    Where the CLIENTID is your Serials Solutions Client ID, which can be found with these instructions.
    In the method statement, change the "post" to "get" to reflect:
