What is happening to the linking syntax of databases Chatham House Online Archive Module 1 & 2?

Ttitle-level linking syntax for databases Chatham House Online Archive Module 1: 1920-1979 and Chatham House Online Archive Module 2: 1980 - 2008 to will be changed to allow for improved authentication and linking.

Therefore, we will be changing the title-level linking syntax in the Knowledgebase. The content of the database will remain the same.

This change will take effect on September 29, 2023:

  • Before September 29, 2023: http://go.galegroup.com
  • After September 29, 2023: https://link.gale.com

Actions you may need to take:

  • Make sure that either https://link.gale.com or *gale.com is included in your proxy configuration before September 29, 2023.
  • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after September 29, 2023.
