Use Case: This came out of the ELUNA 2017 conference.

Defaulting to the Results Tab causes the reports to run and this sometimes takes a long time or you are forced to cancel the run of the report and switch to the Criteria Tab every time.

Virtually everyone changes the default themselves if they know how to change it.

All of the introduction to analytics presentations show users how to change the default.

Instead of going through this process with every single user can the default tab be changed from ‘Results’ to ‘Criteria’?

Ex Libris Response at ELUNA 2018:

This is an OBI definition which ‘out of the box’ cannot be changed.

Each Analytics user only needs to change this setting once and then it is set for any subsequent time the user logs into Analytics.
