Flexible Definition of Local Parameters Being Sent to Analytics

What’s New Highlights Impact

Support for configuring which parts of a MARC field (indicators and subfields) are sent to Analytics via local parameters.

 

Greater flexibility and precision in how bibliographic and holdings data is reported through Analytics.

Provides more control over data granularity in reports and enables a more accurate and focused analysis.

Improve Visibility of Centrally Managed Network Data

What’s New Highlights Impact

Enhanced reporting options for Network Zone E-Resources,  focusing on improving the ability of consortia members to directly access data managed (on their behalf) in the Network Zone.
This enhancement is designed  in collaboration with the Consortia and Analytics Communities of Practice

The new functionality will enable better analysis of Network managed e-resources.

Enables members to create reports with Network data on their own, reducing reliance on the central office and allowing faster access to the data they need.

Introducing a new dedicated Rialto Collection Development workflow analytics subject area, allowing librarians to review their activities and progress done with these workflows.

Title updates in Analytics will run on predefined, scheduled dates. For Networks, all member institutions will be updated together to ensure aligned and consistent data.

As part of the new Consortial Analytics interface, a Network view will be added to the existing member view.
  • Consortia-level view of physical holdings across member institutions
  • Supports identification of single-copy materials
  • Available directly within Alma
Provides coordinated collection strategies and collaboration between the consortia central office and member libraries, with streamlined workflows and improved efficiency directly within Alma.

Enhanced Fund Expenditure Reporting

What’s New Highlights Impact

Additional fields will be added to the Fund Expenditure subject area to provide a more complete view of financial activity.

This enhancement reflects feedback raised through several Idea Exchange submissions.

Enable Acquisitions staff to produce reports covering a broader range of financial information.

Expands the reporting capabilities by allowing libraries to create reports that more accurately reflect their financial activity, reducing the need for workarounds or supplementary data sources when analyzing expenditures.
