360 KB: Databases from GOKB: Databases Name Change -- March 2025
What is happening to GOKB databases names?
Some databases from the provider GOKB Publications are named incorrectly.
Therefore, we will be changing the databases names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the database's IDs will remain the same.
This change will take effect on March 24, 2025:
DB Code | Old Database Name | New Database Name |
---|---|---|
AKXKS | De Gruyter Read & Publish 2024: Bibsam | De Gruyter Read & Publish 2024-2025: Bibsam |
ABTAD | American Institute of Physics AIP:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2024 | American Institute of Physics AIP:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2025 |
AFGMR | American Physical Society APS:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2024 | American Physical Society APS:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2025 |
ABNNA | Medical Journals Sweden:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2024 | Medical Journals Sweden:Bibsam:Journals:2023-2025 |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the databases name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after March 24, 2025.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage datas, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the databases name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's databases name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
