360 KB: Databases from SAGE Publications: Databases Name Change -- July 2024
What is happening to SAGE databases names?
Some databases from the provider SAGE Publications are named incorrectly.
Therefore, we will be changing the databases names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the database's IDs will remain the same.
This change will take effect on June 9, 2024:
DB Code | Old Database Name | New Database Name |
ACXVM | SAGE Skills Business 2021 Annual Collection M80121 | Sage Business Skills Collection 1 |
ABTAD | SAGE Skills Business 2023 Annual Collection M80123 | Sage Business Skills Collection 1, 2023 Supplement |
AFQLT | SAGE Skills Business Full Annual Collection | Sage Business Skills Full Collection 2023 |
ABLFL | SAGE Skills Student Success 2022 M80222 | Sage Skills Student Success Essentials Collection |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after July 9,2024.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
