360 KB: History Vault databases from ProQuest: Migration Information and Database Name Changes -- July 2024
What is happening to ProQuest History Vault databases?
ProQuest has migrated all History Vault databases from the legacy History Vault platform to the ProQuest platform. There is a dual-access period from June 26, 2024 through January 8, 2025. During this period, History Vault customers will have access to both the existing zero-title databases on the legacy platform and the new full-text databases on the ProQuest platform. To help disambiguate during this period, we are updating the legacy database names to include "(Legacy)". The content of the legacy databases, and the database IDs, will remain the same.
This change will take effect on July 9, 2024. Please see the table below for all changes.

Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after July 9, 2024.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
