360 KB: databases from SAGE Publications: Databases Names Change -- August 2024
What is happening to the names of the databases?
The provider SAGE Publications has changed the names of several databases.
Therefore, we will be changing the database names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the database IDs, will remain the same.
This change will take effect on August 29, 2024:
Old Database Name | New Database Name | Database Code |
---|---|---|
SAGE Catalyst Business and Management T287982 | SAGE Catalyst Business and Management | AEXIG |
SAGE Catalyst Core T287980 | SAGE Catalyst Core | ACVCP |
SAGE Catalyst Professional T287983 | SAGE Catalyst Professional | AFERQ |
SAGE Catalyst Professional II T287984 | Sage Catalyst Professional II | ANTFG |
SAGE Catalyst Research Methods T287985 | SAGE Catalyst Research Methods | AAYHL |
SAGE Catalyst Study Skills T287981 | SAGE Catalyst Study Skills | AETKH |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after August 29, 2024.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
