360 KB: 2 Springer Nature Collections: Databases Name Change -- November 2023
What is happening to the names of 2 Springer Nature databases?
The databases from the provider Springer Nature are named incorrectly.
Therefore, we will be changing the databases names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the databases IDs , will remain the same.
This change will take effect on November 15, 2023:
DB Code | Database Name Before November 15, 2023 | Database Name After November 15, 2023 |
---|---|---|
Z82 | Springer for R&D - Health & Hospitals | SpringerNature Industry Sector - Health & Hospitals - Contemporary |
Z8V | Springer for R&D - Health & Hospitals Archive | SpringerNature Industry Sector - Health & Hospitals - Archive |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the databases names as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after November 15, 2023.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the databases names to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's databases names in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
