360 KB: Cambridge Core databases: Database Name Change -- April 2019
What is happening to the names of Cambridge Core databases?
In order to better align with Cambridge University Press naming conventions, we will be changing the database names of some of the Cambridge Core databases. The database IDs and content of the databases will remain the same.
This change will take place on April 2, 2019:
Old database name (before April 2, 2019) | New database name (after April 2, 2019) | Database ID |
---|---|---|
Anthem Press | Cambridge Core Anthem Press | AFKAX |
Boydell & Brewer | Cambridge Core Boydell & Brewer | AAMCN |
Edinburgh University Press | Cambridge Core Edinburgh University Press | ABRTE |
Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research | Cambridge Core Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research | AGDYL |
Foundation Books | Cambridge Core Foundation Books | ABHUC |
ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute | Cambridge Core ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute | AEZEW |
Jagiellonian University Press | Cambridge Core Jagiellonian University Press | ABFIA |
Liverpool University Press | Cambridge Core Liverpool University Press | AAGCS |
Royal Economic Society | Cambridge Core Royal Economic Society | AMXVW |
University of Adelaide Press | Cambridge Core University of Adelaide Press | AAMHX |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after April 2, 2019.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as SFX, EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-Serials Solutions tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in Serials Solutions' database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
