What is happening to the URL linking syntax and Title Language of China Statistical Yearbooks Database?

The provider East View Information Services has changed the title-level linking syntax for China Statistical Yearbooks Database, database code ~AN. Additionally, the provider title list no longer contains all the English titles.

Therefore, we will be changing the title-level linking syntax in the Knowledgebase. Also, the titles in this database will be changed to the original Chinese language.

This change will take effect on May 6, 2022:

• Before May 6, 2022: http://tongji.oversea.cnki.net
• After May 6, 2022: https://data.oversea.cnki.net

Title language changes:

• Before May 6, 2022: Tabulation on the 1995 Industry Census of China
• After May 6, 2022: 中华人民共和国1995年工业普查资料汇编

Actions you may need to take:

• Make sure that https://data.oversea.cnki.net or *cnki.net is included in your proxy configuration before May 6, 2022.
• If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after May 6, 2022.
