What is happening to the URL linking syntax of database Marquis Biographies Online?

The provider Marquis Who's Who indicated that the title level linking is no longer available for Marquis Biographies Online, database code CTB. The current title level linking goes to the print product description page rather than the database content.

In order to provide access to the database content, we will be changing all title-level linking syntax to the database search page. The content of the database will remain the same.

This change will take effect on January 2, 2018:

• Before January 2, 2018: https://www.marquiswhoswho.com
• After January 2, 2018 all titles will be redirected to the URL: http://search.marquiswhoswho.com/search

Actions you may need to take:

• Make sure that either http://search.marquiswhoswho.com or *marquiswhoswho.com is included in your proxy configuration before January 2, 2018.
• If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after January 2, 2018.
