What is happening with the PAO Collections Migration from Chadwyck-Healey to the ProQuest platform?
July 2013 Update: All URLS in the Chadwyck-Healy versions of the PAO collections re-direct to the new collections on the ProQuest platform. ProQuest is recommending that all customers still using the Chadwyck-Healy databases move to the ProQuest databases to minimize any possible interruption in service.
The PAO (Periodicals Archive Online) collections from Chadwyck-Healy are migrating to the ProQuest Platform. They are now available on both Chadwyck Healy and Proquest Platforms until summer 2013 at which point they will be completely migrated to the ProQuest Platform.
The new ProQuest PAO collections are now available to select in the Client Center and Intota. Please see the new ProQuest PAO database codes and names spreadsheet for database names and codes and to help determine which new databases to choose.
Because there are significantly more ProQuest PAO collections 1, 2, and 3 than Chadwyck Healy collections, you may need to consult with ProQuest in order to determine which new databases to select for these collections. ProQuest Support is available by submitting a case, by phone (see listed numbers for ProQuest Academic Platform, GIS, and databases) or by Chat.
Please note that there are no collections labeled "International" on the ProQuest Platform.
