    1. What is happening to the names of Wiley Database Model 2016, 2017, and 2018?

What is happening to the names of Wiley Database Model 2016, 2017, and 2018?

The Wiley Database Model databases from the provider Wiley are named incorrectly. We have been working with the provider in order to standardize our database naming to match their naming guide and their authoritative collection names, reflecting the Wiley Online Library platform. Therefore, we are changing the names of databases Wiley Database Model 2016, Wiley Database Model 2017, Wiley Database Model 2018 to align with their nomenclature.

The contents of the databases will remain the same.

This change will take effect on June 18, 2018:

Database Code Database name before June 18, 2018 Database name after June 18, 2018
    LITHE

    Wiley Database Model 2016

Wiley Online Library Database Model 2016
LOXES Wiley Database Model 2017 Wiley Online Library Database Model 2017
LUTES Wiley Database Model 2018 Wiley Online Library Database Model 2018

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after June 18, 2018.
    • If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
