Asahi Shimbun Cross Search is a specialized resource, which requires a unique setup in order to allow retrieving records in CDI.

In order to activate Asahi Shimbun Cross Search in Alma to receive CDI results, the following steps are necessary:

1. Confirm the library has an active subscription for Asahi Shimbun Cross Search.

2. Request the provider's approval to activate Asahi Shimbun Cross Search via email. 

3. Submit a case to Ex Libris Support with the provider's confirmation attached requesting to activate Asahi Shimbun Cross Search in Alma for CDI results.

4. Ex Libris will customize the database, and will confirm in the case once Asahi Shimbun Cross Search has been properly set up.
