Alma: What is Happening with the OverDrive Magazines Collection?

We have received several support tickets requesting an update for the OverDrive Magazines Collection (Collection ID: 614970000000000423, dbid GMYUL).
Following a thorough analysis of the collection's update status and discussions with the provider, we will announce this collection as "Not Maintained" in the Alma Community Zone.
The current MARC records for the magazine titles lack coverage dates information. Coverage dates are a mandatory requirement for validating any serial collection during ingestion into our knowledgebase. Without these dates, it is not possible to update or add any missing magazine titles.
The provider is exploring options to improve the MARC records for the magazines or create and maintain a KBART list for them. There is currently no timeline for implementing either of these options.
Most links in the Magazines collection currently resolve as expected. Therefore, we have decided not to remove it from the knowledgebase, hoping to see a solution become available in the future.
