    What Is Changing?

Editions ENI distinguishes between two types of content:

    • Active titles – current editions included in ongoing subscriptions
    • Retired titles – older editions that may still be accessible depending on your subscription start date

Following customer feedback and in collaboration with Editions ENI, we are restructuring these collections to reflect this distinction more clearly.

The existing collections will be updated to include active titles only. Retired titles will be removed from these collections, and the collections will be renamed as follows:

    • Ediciones ENI – Vídeos Activos
    • Editions ENI – Vidéos Actives
    • Bibliothèque Numérique ENI – Titres actifs
    • Biblioteca Digital ENI – Títulos activos

Four new collections will be created to represent retired titles. These will be available for activation, allowing you to selectively include titles based on your institution’s entitlements:

    • Bibliothèque Numérique ENI – Titres retirés
    • Biblioteca Digital ENI – Títulos retirados
    • Editions ENI – Vidéos retirées
    • Ediciones ENI – Vídeos retirados

How Can I Tell If My Institution Has Access to Retired Titles?

Access to retired titles depends on when your institution’s subscription to Editions ENI began:

    • If your subscription started before a title was retired, you retain access to that title.
    • If your subscription started after the title was retired, it is not included in your access.

To support this, Editions ENI provides title lists with retirement dates:

    • French titles (books and videos):
      https://download.mediapluspro.com/BN/FR/current/MARC21/
→ See column “Date de dépréciation”
    • Spanish titles (books and videos):
      https://download.mediapluspro.com/BN/ES/current/
→ See column “Fecha de retirada”

    Please note:
These lists are not customized per institution, so you will need to compare the retirement dates with your own subscription start date.

Please see detailed instructions from Editions ENI:

    Timeline

As of June 2026, Ex Libris and Editions ENI are finalizing the implementation details. Updates to the collections will be applied once the details are finalized.
