Ex Libris Provider Content Known Issues + Platform Migration
The issues listed in the Provider Content Issues in Progress + Platform Migration.xlsx file, holds information regarding:
1. Known issues with Provider's content. please note that the file will only contain issues where we have:
- A commitment from the provider that they will be able to resolve, but the resolution time is over three months.
- The Provider can resolve this but is unable to commit to a firm timeline.
- The Provider is unable to resolve this.
2. Platform Migration information. Any provider which plans to migrate their content from one platform to the next will be listed, there will be information about the expected Impact and general timeline as given by the content provider. The relevant product Release Notes and any related articles will be updated when the changes go live.
Explanation About the 3 Sheets in the File
1. Known Issues - Open+Closed no fix. This sheet holds issue which are still live in the system, there are 2 types of issues:
- Issues which Ex Libris is actively communicating with the provider to find a resolution
- Issues which the provider stated they can not fix or there was not answer from the provider after multiple attempts
- Closed and fixed Issues. Issues which were part of the "Known Issues - Open+Closed no fix" sheet, and now are fixed
- Platform Migration. See bullet #2 in the first paragraph of this page.
This list does not include issues with unresponsive providers.
