Update Notice: Changes to Annual Reviews Collections in Ex Libris Products

We would like to inform you of upcoming updates to the Annual Reviews collections within Ex Libris products. These changes aim to align naming conventions with the provider's current marketing and to improve the discoverability of open access content.

    Complete Collection Update Details

    DBID: FXG

    Collection ID: 61111058275372000
    Collection Name: Annual Reviews

    Updated Information:

    • New Name: Annual Reviews Subscribe to Open (S2O) – Subscribers
    • Justification: This name update aligns with the terminology used by the content provider to better reflect the nature of the subscription model. This collection includes all of Annual Reviews titles, subscribed as well as Open Access.

    Open Access Collection Adjustment

Collection Name: Annual Reviews Open Access

    DBID: ZYWBE

    Collection ID: 615300000000000045

    • This database will be transitioned to a Zero Title database.
    • URL: https://www.annualreviews.org/content/publications
    • New Name: Annual Reviews Subscribe to Open for non-subscribers
    • Justification: The change ensures the collection reflects only open access content from the CDI (Central Discovery Index) feed. This includes articles made openly available by the publisher, regardless of whether they are officially part of the Subscribe to Open (S2O) initiative.

By implementing these updates, we aim to enhance the accuracy and clarity of content delivery in discovery services. It also ensures that non-subscribers continue to access open access material without disruption and removes the need for ongoing threshold monitoring.

For any questions or additional support, feel free to contact us or Annual Reviews.
