Why are there missing identifiers in the HAC Collected Courses collection and the Brill Online Reference Works collection?

Answer 

Some titles in these collections appear without identifiers in the knowledgebases because we don’t have complete records or accurate identifiers from Brill. In many cases, these titles are supplements or parts of larger publications, and specific ISBNs or ISSNs for those individual components aren’t available.

Additionally, when we receive title lists from Brill, we often find that some titles share duplicate identifiers (ISSNs or ISBNs). Since the Ex Libris knowledgebases can’t display multiple titles using the same identifier, we’ve had to remove some of them to ensure all titles in the collections are visible. This workaround helps prevent missing titles, but it also means some records may lack identifiers.
