    JSTOR Path to Open Collection Transition – January 2026

    During the week of January 5, 2026, the first 100 books selected in 2023 for JSTOR’s Path to Open program will transition to open access. 
     

    Key Changes in Ex Libris Knowledgebases  

    KBART Title Lists
    The 100 titles flipping to open will be:

    • Removed from the JSTOR Path to Open collection (Collection ID: 615490000000002000; DBID: CCVUK)

    • Added to the JSTOR Books Open Access collection (Collection ID: 614330000000000094; DBID: BAHZO)

     
    Alma Autoholdings

    • For institutions that subscribe to Path to Open: the license information for the 100 titles will be updated from ‘P2OCOR’ to ‘OA’ in their Books at JSTOR holdings files

    • For institutions that do not subscribe to Path to Open: the 100 titles will be added with license ‘OA’ to their Books at JSTOR holdings file sent for Alma Autoholdings.
