The World Bank discontinued their subscription-based eLibrary on June 30, 2024 and links to all content are redirecting to various freely accessible World Bank sites. The default location is their Open Knowledge Repository (OKR). For any content not available in the OKR or released before 2000, URLs redirect to the respective abstract pages on the World Bank’s Documents and Reports platform. All data links in the World Bank eLibrary redirect to data.worldbank.org. For more information about the change from the World Bank perspective, please see World Bank Discontinuation Notice and the linked documents and pages there.

World Bank and Ex Libris are working together to find the best ways to make this change as seamless as possible. Current eLibrary links found in the eLibrary collections in the Ex Libris KBs (and in CDI) have automatically redirected users to their new, free-to-read and download locations since July 1, 2024.

For newly-published articles, books, and reports after the discontinuation of the eLibrary, please activate the World Bank's Open Knowledge Repository in the Ex Libris knowledgebases and in CDI:

Collection Name Alma Collection ID 360 DB code/DBID SFX Target Name
    Open Knowledge Repository 614330000000000566 VO9 OPEN_KNOWLEDGE_REPOSITORY

This is a Database collection / Zero-Title resource, but the respective article and chapter-level records are available in CDI. We are working with the World Bank on solutions to bring title-level information, similar to what is available in the eLibrary currently, to the Open Knowledge Repository, but it is likely that this will not be available until after the eLibrary is discontinued in 2024.
