    Question

What is the difference between Leganto cutover and Alma cutover?

    Answer

Unlike an Alma cutover, which removes old data and replaces it with new, in Leganto implementations, cutover describes adding the pilot courses and reading lists to Alma. You may also decide to remove the test courses that were used for the testing phase of the implementation.

The customer completes the manual processes of adding of pilot courses (and optional deleting of test courses).

After the Cutover phase, Go live will happen after you and the Leganto Project Manager confirm that the:

    1. Citations on the pilot reading lists are marked as Complete
    2. Reading List status is Complete
    3. Publication Status has been changed from its Draft status to a status that allows the course's students to be able to see the reading list (for example: All Students Restricted, Course Students, etc.)
