    Description:
in the MetaLib Admin interface I can't find any local resources from our NOV institution and only 164 Metalib resources => look's like DAT01 index is incomplete

in the logfile of the Index DAT01job I found the following error:

    Execution error : file '/exlibris/metalib/m4_2/aleph/exe/get_buf_docx.gnt'
    error code: 114, pc=0, call=8, seg=0
114 Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory (Signal 11)
complete logfile is attached, latest MLv4.0 SP (190) is installed

    Resolution:
    [From site:]

I found the reason for the problem, our Oracle database was setup with WE8ISO8859P1 character set => during the load the z00 data was character converted => data parsing during the indexing process for records with spec. characters (like ?) was not possible and the indexing processes crashed.
