    ORA-12154 error in target UE

    Description:
    Receiving “Cannot connect to the data base: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach)” error in first step of target UE (upgrade express) after running MIK (Metalib Installation Kit).
    Oracle10 and the meta4 database are already installed.

    Resolution:
    The m4_m tns name was not defined properly during the installation.

    Therefore please change ORA_HOST to a fully qualified www.server.name when trying:

    metalib@metalib4(m4_m):~/m4_m/metalib_conf>sqlplus $METALIB_ADMIN@$metalib_db
