Resolution:
In order to direct users to the MetaLib Home page after ending the session,
you need to add the following segment into the file: ./m3_N/pds/conf_table/tab_service.<institute>

[REDIRECT_LOGOUT]
params = Y/?func=home
[END]

Specify the page you wish to redirect users to by using the relevant func=page which you can identify by looking at the URL of the page/module you wish to redirect users to.
