Users of Primo Analytics would very much like to have a data dictionary and data model created and maintained by Ex Libris for all of the Primo actions captured in Primo Analytics.

Users are seeing inconsistent numbers between Primo Analytics and Primo SQL results (SalesForce case 447177) and when users pressed Ex Libris for documentation detailing what is being captured in Primo Analytics they were told that the documentation does not exist yet.

It should be a high priority for Ex Libris to create this documentation for its users.

Ex Libris Response (20 Nov 2018):

It is Ex Libris’ intention to keep the Analytics documentation as up to date as possible.  There is documentation of each Subject Area with a Field Descriptions section that lists the following for each: field, description, additional information.

Ex Libris has asked the Analytics Working Group to provide a list of all Analytics fields for which it is unclear from what field or where they come from in Alma. Please notify the Analytics Working Group if you know of an issue. If you notice a field In Alma Analytics that is derived from a field with a different name in Alma, please send a post to the Analytics Working Group Listserv referenced below.

For these fields, Ex Libris will enhance the documentation with a description of its source and, if necessary, will rename the field for clarity.
