    Question

Is it possible to add new local browse fields for browse search?

    Answer

Only the following OTB browse fields are supported for browse search: by Title, by Author, by Subject, by Call Number.

The valid call number types are as follows:
    0 – Library of Congress
    1 – Dewey
2 – National Library of Medicine (NLM)
    3 – SUDOC
    8 – Generic

The number that defines the type of the call number is generated from MARC field AVA subfield k.

If a $$T value is not present or a different number is placed such as $$T4 , Primo will default to Generic.
