How to update date format used by APIs

Desired Outcome Goal:
To change date format used by RESTful APIs / vxws
Procedure:
1. SSH/Telnet to server as voyager user
2. Find and open vxws.properties for editing:
cd /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat/vxws/context/vxws/ui/eng/
vi vxws.properties
3. Find date format property:
date.format=yyyy-MM-dd
4. Edit format after equals (=) symbol.
5. Save changes.
Additional Information
Date format in vxws.properties will impact display in Primo and any interface that uses Voyager's RESTful APIs.
