    Description:
    Primo users are getting the following message trying to connect to the OPAC via Primo: "We're sorry, but an unrecoverable problem was detected trying to call the ILS system. Try again later."

    And we see the following in the Primo server logs:

    2011-08-30 18:38:14,142 ERROR [t-ILSG-pool-432-thread-50] [c-AbstractILSRequestHandler] - This service called for the following items index/id:0/ABC01000489876;
    original error:Error for adaptor:'ALEPH_20'; for servce:'get_holdings_infoError processing call in SingleRequest handler - with original message -Connection refused
    com.exlibris.primo.gateway.PrimoILSGException: Connection refused

    This tells us that Aleph is refusing connections from the Primo server.

    Resolution:
    JBoss was not running on the Aleph server. Starting JBoss (util /w/3/7/9) corrected the problem.

    Oher causes of this problem could be:

    Aleph firewall not set up to accept Primo server requests or
    apache not running on Aleph server. (In this case, the Aleph OPAC would not be working either....)
