Pipe error: “com.exlibris.process.impl.exception.TaskNotFoundException: Can't find task for transition:end,in task runner:…”

Symptoms

A regular pipe stops when all harvested records are marked for deletion and there are no other new records to be harvested.

1. The pipe stops with one of the following errors on the Harvest log:

- com.exlibris.process.impl.exception.TaskNotFoundException: Can't find task for transition:end,in task runner: frbr_process,current task is:CreateBulksForIndexingQueue

Or:

- com.exlibris.process.impl.exception.TaskNotFoundException: Can't find task for transition:end,in task runner: nep_main_process,current task is:CreateBulksForIndexingQueue

Or:

- com.exlibris.process.impl.exception.TaskNotFoundException: Can't find task for transition:end,in task runner: dedup_merge_process,current task is:CreateBulksForIndexingQueue

2. The pipe Job Details contains only Deleted records and no Normal Records (new records)

Defect Status

Planned fix: Primo August 2017 Release

Replication Steps

1. Go to Primo BO-> Pipe list-> enter the pipe Job Details

2. See on Harvest stage:

    Normal Records:0        Deleted Records: >0

Workaround

On the ILS/ catalog system:

1. Publish at least one new record for harvest.

On Primo BO:

2. Terminate the pipe.

3. Execute the pipe and wait for it to finish.
