    Description:
I have two questions concerning umlaute in Primo:

    1) If I search arch?ology I'll get 5515 hits, if I search arch?ology OR archaeology, I'll get 11'367 hits. If I'm searching ?, why Primo doesn't search ae as well?

    2) When I search burger, then Primo searches also B?rger, when I'm searching losung (englisch = watchword) and l?sung (= solution). Why Primo is searching ? as well when it should search only o?

    Resolution:
Please change the configuration in BO:
Primo Home > Advanced Configuration > Search Engine Configurations

    Language Recognition
Please change 'Locale' language from English to German. This will change the normalization, e.g. '?' will be normalized to 'ae'.

After doing this change, you need to save, deploy, reset indexes and index from scratch to assign the new rules to all data.
