What are the slashes in the BIRT Reports in the Primo Back Office?

    • Article Type: Q&A

    • Product Version:

    Question

BIRT reports that list search queries sometimes show search terms separated by slashes, for example:
    Cats / Cats
    Cats / Kittens

    What does this mean?

    Answer

    1. The search terms with slashes and the same content on each side of the slash are mostly Deep Link searches.
For example, the user enters the search term “Cats” and the report records the search string as “Cats / Cats”.

    2. The search terms with slashes and different contents on each side of the slash are mostly multiple search terms entered in the Primo search fields.
For example, the user searches the Advanced Search for "Title, Contains, Cats" and "Subject, Contains, Kittens". The report will display this as "Cats / Kittens".
