    Released: January 18, 2021

    Dear colleagues,

Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Edge as your default browser and supports Internet Explorer 11 for backward compatibility. Internet Explorer 11 is the last major version of Internet Explorer. For customers running on an older version of Internet Explorer, Microsoft recommends customers migrate to the latest version of Edge. For more details see Microsoft: Lifecycle FAQ - Internet Explorer and Edge.

The usage of Internet Explorer is decreasing while people are switching to faster and more secured browsers.

Ex Libris, together with the Primo Working Group, has decided to discontinue Internet Explorer (IE) browser certification by May 2021.

Users may still access Primo using IE, however it will no longer be certified and tested as part of our releases.

We would like to encourage you to approach your administrator and ask for a recommendation for a browser to use instead: Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

    Regards,

    Primo Product Management Team
