New Notes in Deliver Digital Documents Page
NERS Enhancement (ID #7472) URM-318032It is now possible to add two new notes, Internal note and Note to partner, when using the Deliver Digital Documents to fulfill a document delivery request. This improves the communication with borrowers and the ability to record internal information when supplying a document delivery service. The notes are not communicated with RapidILL partners.
Next Discovery Experience Available for Rapido
The NDE was designed with a focus on simplified workflows, incorporating valuable ideas raised by the community, and providing expanded configuration options. NDE is available for libraries using Rapido. The request visibility in the NDE provides a more consistent user experience with the Rapido offers and the local request options. New Partners Fields in Resource Sharing Partner Record

Additional fields have been added to the Resource Sharing Partner record (Fulfillment > Resource Sharing > Partners) to enable further customization. The following fields have been added:
- Account Allowances - populated by customizable drop down options. Multiple selections can be made to designate additional partner information.
- Alternate Account Number - a free text field that, in addition to an alternate symbol, allows for additional information to be stored on the partner record.
- Sector - populated by customizable drop down options to allow for additional information to be stored on the partner record.
- Organization Type - populated by customizable drop down options to allow for additional information to be stored on the partner record.
- Send Communications Allowed - A yes/no value. Some libraries may want to note if marketing materials can be delivered to partners.
New Function in the Request Task Lists

A new function in the Request Information side panel makes the partner name in the requests task lists linkable, allowing the user to select it and view the partner details without navigating away from the task list. It is available for Borrowing and Lending Requests.
This feature is only available for Rapido customers.
Once the user selects the new hyperlink, Rapido should open a side panel with the Partner details in Edit mode.
Shipping Items Without a Barcode

It is now possible to ship items that do not have barcodes. Previously, shipping an item required a barcode. Now, Rapido supports shipping items using their Item ID when a barcode is not available.
