Activate Write-N-Cite in Word

Question

How do I enable Write-N-Cite (WNC) in Microsoft Word?

Answer

Access MS Word Options via the File menu option.

Select Add-ins and then Manage COM Add-ins > Go:

The panel will look similar to this.

If WNC is disabled, follow the steps listed above but select Manage Disabled
Items > Go:

Select WNC, select Enable:

Changes take effect immediately.

Restart Word.

Additional Information

You may need to delete the working files in order to enable WNC. Go to Cleaning up files created by Write-N-Cite 4 (WNC) for instructions.
