    1. Follow these steps to pause DDA in your institution:
    2. Step 1
    3. Step 2
    4. Step 3

Follow these steps to pause DDA in your institution:
    Step 1

Disable DDA on the appropriate platform. For Ebook Central DDA, go to LibCentral and update the title visibility to only 'Owned & Subscribed' (Settings > Access Permissions > Visibility), or you may ask Rialto Support to make this change for you. For EBSCO and JSTOR DDA, please open a case with Rialto Support and we can submit the pause request to the platforms on your behalf.

    Step 2

If using a Selection Plan, you will want to turn it off by navigating to Market > Selection Plans > and then edit the plan(s). Once there, you will wish to toggle the plan from active to inactive. This step is only necessary if you don't wish to continue approving DDA titles to add to the pool.

    Step 3

If your institution is not set up for autoholdings, complete this additional step. You will want to pause the PDA profile from the Acquisitions menu (Acquisitions > Advanced Tools > Patron Driven Acquisition (PDA)). This will serve to suppress the DDA records in Alma and Primo rendering them undiscoverable to your users.
