How do I pause DDA for my institution?

    • Product: Rialto

Follow these steps to pause DDA in your institution:
    Step 1

Disable DDA on the appropriate platform. For Ebook Central DDA, disable the DDA in LibCentral under Access Permissions, or you may ask your Content and Workflow Strategies Consultant to disable it on your behalf. For EBSCO DDA, you will need to reach out to your EBSCO representative to request they disable the DDA.

    Step 2

If using a Selection Plan, you will want to turn it off by navigating to Market > Selection Plans > and then edit the plan(s). Once there, you will wish to toggle the plan from active to inactive. This step is only necessary if you don't wish to continue approving DDA titles to add to the pool.

    Step 3

If your institution is not set up for autoholdings, complete this additional step. You will want to pause the PDA profile from the Acquisitions menu. This will serve to suppress the DDA records in Alma and Primo rendering them undiscoverable to your users.
