Return to Rialto 2026 Roadmap

Marketplace
Overview
The 2026 Rialto roadmap focuses on expanding marketplace reach, strengthening integration across Alma, and enabling more informed acquisition and fulfillment decisions. Planned enhancements include new content partnerships with Browns Books, VLeBooks, and Kortext, introducing both fully integrated and referral-based purchasing models to support a wider range of procurement and framework requirements.
Rialto will extend access to collection development tools across all Alma users, while new capabilities such as Informed Fulfillment Search and enriched subscriptions data support more strategic, cost-effective decision-making. Additional improvements streamline existing workflows, including continued support for print acquisition through referral models and a dedicated page for managing Ebook Central upgrades. Together, these enhancements reinforce Rialto’s role as a central hub for discovery, evaluation, and fulfillment across formats and institutions.
