On a regular basis, we review our in-market products and solutions to determine both their viability and their sustainability. Following a recent review, we decided to discontinue support for UStat (Usage Statistics Service) in six months.  This decision is due to UStat's limitations in the types and versions of reports it supports.

UStat currently supports reports only up to the COUNTER R4 standard (Journal Report 1, Database Report 1, and Book Reports 1 and 2).  The current industry standard is COUNTER R5, which offers a broader range of capabilities.

If you are planning to migrate your ILS to Alma, you can be assured that Alma supports COUNTER R5 (including SUSHI capabilities), and your existing files can be handled as part of the Alma implementation project.

In any case you are able to export of your data and reports from your UStat account. Please refer to page 35 of the user guide for instructions on how to do this.

UStat application will no longer be accessible after July 1, 2025.

For any questions or queries, please contact Support.
